BABY BLESSINGS AT THE UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST MEETING HOUSE

Unitarian Universalists believe that all children are born without sin, our Rev Althea blesses each child as a precious gift of love and hope. Everyone present is asked to care for, encourage and support this new life. Water, as the sacred source of life, is placed on the baby’s forehead in a naming ceremony. Everyone present is blessed in these ceremonies.

MEMORIAL SERVICES AT THE UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST MEETING HOUSE

Rev. Althea crafts personal memorial services. She bases each service on what the family holds sacred, reflecting their love for those who have died. Her goal is for family members to feel witnessed in each memorial. She works to create something that the person who is deceased would have loved too.
